Image to 3D
Turn an image into a 3D model
Upload a picture of a single object, or generate one, and get back a textured GLB you can open in the SimplexGen editor, a game engine or a slicer. Pixal3D keeps the result aligned to the pixels of your reference image.
Open the image to 3D toolPricingThis tool runs on GPU capacity. You must be signed in, each run is metered in credits against your account, and the API needs a paid plan with an API key. Anonymous visitors cannot start a job.
How it works
- Pick an image of one object on a plain background. White-background product shots work best.
- Choose a texture size. 1024 is the standard tier; 2048 and 4096 use the higher billing tier.
- Download the GLB, or send it to the editor to repair, simplify and prepare it for printing.

Questions
Is image to 3D really free?
New accounts get a small free generation allowance in the studio. Beyond that, generations are billed in credits or included in a paid plan. The REST API requires a paid plan and an API key.
What file do I get?
A textured GLB. The editor can also export other mesh formats.
What makes a good input image?
A single centered object, even lighting and a simple background. See the white-background reference image guide on the blog.
